Cirque
du Soleil and Luxor Partner to Present a New Live Experience Featuring
Criss Angel (Premieres Summer 2008) – Cirque du Soleil is working with
Criss Angel to fuse his revolutionary illusions and mind-blowing
artistry with acrobatics, dance, puppetry, music and poetry to tell a
story, taking audiences on a bizarre and fascinating journey.
Re-inventing the traditional magic show has been a long-standing desire
of Guy Laliberté, guide and founder of Cirque du Soleil. Five years of
extensive research and development were spent exploring the world of
magic and how to re-define the experience. This is the first time
Cirque du Soleil is diversifying into a new art form – a magic show.
Fantasy
– Set in Luxor’s 350-seat Atrium Showroom, this provocative adult revue
brings fantasies to life with the sizzling Fantasy dancers.
Choreographed by Cris Judd and Eddie Garcia and produced by Emmy-award
winner Anita Mann, Fantasy features sultry costumes and delicious dance
numbers that tempt audiences with just the right amount of seduction.
Led by Jennifer Ross’ spellbinding dancing, the Fantasy dancers take
audiences on an indulgent journey in which they act out sensual
fantasies including a forbidden office romance, a sultry secret agent
and a naughty cowgirl. The show is highlighted by the dazzling vocals
of songstress Stephanie Jordan and also features multi-faceted
entertainer Sean Cooper.
Carrot Top – After touring the
country with his renowned comedy show for more than 15 years, comedian
Carrot Top now is a permanent headliner at Luxor’s Atrium Showroom.
With a knack for rock ‘n’ roll gadgets and in-your-face energy, Carrot
Top’s super imaginative performances and outrageous style have made him
a pop culture phenomenon. Known as a genius when it comes to inventive
props, Carrot Top pokes fun at cultural icons, rednecks and more.
The
Ronn Lucas Show – Comedian-ventriloquist Ronn Lucas and his puppets
Scorch, Buffalo Billy and Chuck bring “The Ronn Lucas Show” to Luxor’s
Atrium Showroom. With his sidekicks, Lucas mixes stand-up comedy,
improvisation, audience participation, puppetry and vocal gymnastics to
astonish and delight audiences. He has been called the “World’s Best
Ventriloquist” by The New York Times. His much-admired show is good,
clean, intelligent comedy suitable for guests five years of age and
older.
Fine Dining at Luxor
Luxor offers a variety of
fine dining experiences from seafood and steak to Pan Asian cuisine and
Italian, all served in distinctive surroundings.
Company
American Bistro (Opened November 2007) – The third Las Vegas restaurant
from nightlife and dining pacesetters Pure Management Group, Company
reinvents the concept of the American bistro. Encompassing more than
10,000 square feet, the restaurant features a fireside lounge
surrounded by aspen trees and hurricane lamp candles, a
state-of-the-art wine room and a fun American menu. A team of talented
chefs brought in from some of the most famous restaurants in the world
have created a menu of tantalizing American entrees where patrons have
the luxury of customizing their meal from top to bottom. Selections of
fresh fish and prime cuts of meat serve as the canvas, and then it’s up
to the customer to choose the rest, from cooking style to sides.
CatHouse
(Opened December 2007) – The design of this relaxed, sexy restaurant
and European ultra lounge is a modern interpretation of a 19th century
French bordello. The look is complemented by provocatively dressed
staff and voyeuristic visual elements. Executive Chef Kerry Simon has
created dishes inspired by European, Asian and American flavors. The
atmosphere in the dining room is sultry with low-light chandeliers,
tufted-fabric walls and a cobalt-blue color scheme, while the ultra
lounge portion of the venue is a predominantly red room, designed to
create an intimate, seductive, yet elegant setting that makes every
customer feel like a VIP. Elevated platforms throughout the lounge
feature sexy performers modeling CatHouse’s own line of lingerie while
performing choreographed vignettes.
Luxor Steakhouse –
Designer Thomas Schoos will add a touch of safari to Luxor with the
remodeled Luxor Steakhouse, slated to open in spring 2008. Featuring
deep chocolate browns, rich dark leather and animal prints, the
designer will bring the outdoors in through an approachable new design.
While beef will remain the main focus, the new menu also will feature
fresh seafood, veal and lamb, offering the finest ingredients from
small family farms and specialty artisan sources.
Fusia
– A rare indulgence in trend-forward fusion cuisine, Fusia offers a
twist on tradition. The main ingredients are familiar, but exotic
flavors are added to reveal dishes that offer delicate spices, tasteful
splashes of color and hints of the unexpected. Generous appetizer
portions include Satay Beef Skewers served in spiced tempura rings,
Blue Crab and Rock Shrimp Rolls with roasted sweet chili sauce; and
Chef’s Dim Sum Sampler which includes Pork Shu-mai, Shrimp Dumplings
and Spiced Napa Beef Rolls. Dinner specialties include such taste
sensations as Shiso and Cracked Pepper Crusted Ahi, served with spicy
lime and cilantro rice and Braised Curried Lamb Shanks with red
curry-vegetable ragout. The 90-seat Fusia lounge partners the unique
appetizer menu with an unrivaled selection of specialty drinks.
Casual Dining at Luxor
Luxor also provides guests with relaxed, informal dining.
Pyramid
Café – The 24-hour café features a full menu of salads, burgers, steaks
and homemade pizzas along with around-the-clock breakfast specialties.
Conveniently located on the casino floor, this casual eatery serves up
comfort food such as Fajitas and Chicken Parmesan.
Backstage
Deli – Located near Luxor Theatre, the Backstage Deli menu includes
favorites such as signature Triple Decker sandwiches, Pretzel Bread,
Corned Beef and Patty Melts with caramelized onions on marbled rye, all
served in a New York-style setting.
MORE Buffet – Featuring a
30-foot-long salad bar, house-made pizza station, two carving stations,
two omelet stations and specialties from around the world, MORE Buffet
is sure to please every appetite.
La Salsa – The Mexican grill
offers exceptional appetizers and entrees from south of the border for
lunch and dinner. Guests can indulge in the famous
Margaritas-by-the-yard and salsa bar in a festive setting overlooking
the casino floor or watch as the talented chefs prepare their meal in
the display kitchen.
Luxor Food Court – For a quick bite or

LAX
Nightclub Las Vegas (Opened August 2007) – One of L.A.’s hottest
nightclubs now lights up Luxor with star power courtesy of celebrity
investors DJ AM and Christina Aguilera. From the creators of PURE
Nightclub, LAX Las Vegas combines the best of its Los Angeles namesake
with the energy and excitement that only Pure Management Group can
create. Catering to a sophisticated Hollywood crowd, LAX is the
destination of choice for discriminating club-goers, A-list celebrities
and the social jet set. The intimate surroundings and incomparable DJ
line-up has nightlife aficionados itching to catch a glimpse of Las
Vegas’ newest hotspot. With polished hip décor created by chic Los
Angeles designer Thomas Schoos, LAX Las Vegas transforms the space
formerly occupied by RA.
Noir Bar (Opened August 2007) – Pure
Management Group brings an all-new style of nightlife to Las Vegas with
Noir Bar, an ultra-exclusive nightspot designed to cater only to the
most elite clientele. Part of Luxor’s new nightlife scene, Noir’s
entrance is outside of the resort providing patrons private access to
the venue. Reminiscent of a modern speakeasy, only those fortunate
enough to get on the elite guest list are allowed entrance through
Noir’s secret passageway into the stunning candle-lit bar layered in
rich leathers and gleaming crystals. An intimate spot where guests can
enjoy European bottle service, sip specialty drinks created tableside
and sample scrumptious desserts from an antique-style French dessert
cart, Noir Bar caters exclusively to the high-end club customer looking
for a truly exclusive nightlife experience.
Flight (Opened
July 2007) – Luxor takes off with Flight, a new bar adjacent to LAX.
Designed by Thomas Schoos to carry LAX’s unique design onto the casino
floor, Flight offers a 40-seat lounge as well as a full bar serving the
latest in premium cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic selections.
Liquidity
(Opened December 2007) – Design firm Super Potato brings water to life
with Liquidity. Located in the center of Luxor’s trademark pyramid,
Liquidity features a bar and three separate lounge areas. Using
cutting-edge technology, Liquidity’s one-of-a-kind design centers on a
projection system that uses water as a canvas. With a modern, sleek
design, Liquidity provides a focal point for the remodeled casino
floor, slated for completion in May 2008.
Aurora Lounge – This
unique 157-seat lounge boasts a dynamic atmosphere designed to resemble
the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights. Aurora features
signature martinis, mojitos and margaritas along with an assortment of
contemporary cocktails, wine, beer and a premium selection of
non-alcoholic items. The lounge also offers European bottle service,
wine service and martinis poured tableside.
Nurture – The Spa at Luxor
Nurture – The Spa at Luxor offers a chance to unwind amid the exciting
hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. Relax in this intimate facility with
treatments designed to soothe tired bodies and calm weary minds.
Innovative services include a Peppermint Foot Therapy, a stimulating
foot and leg massage complete with warm peppermint towel wrap; Citrus
Marine Detox Body Toner, a three-stage treatment that includes a sea
salt and seaweed scrub, Mediterranean marine mud body mask and a toning
and firming gel; and Escape to Sonoma with a full-body, grapeseed oil
massage followed by a sea salt scrub and a wine body wrap to nourish
dehydrated skin. The spa also includes a whirlpool, sauna and
eucalyptus steam room in both the men’s and women’s areas to enhance
the guest experience. Nurture – The Spa at Luxor also offers a
state-of-the-art fitness center.
Pool and Cabanas
Luxor
features four large pools, four relaxing whirlpools and 12 private
cabanas, each with a beverage-stocked refrigerator, an air-cooling mist
system and ceiling fan. Each comfortable cabana also includes a
television, dining table and chairs, in-house telephone, food and
beverage service and two rafts for the pools.
Taking the personal
service and luxurious offerings of Luxor outside, the recently opened
Restore Pool offers guests 21 years of age and older a spa-like
sanctuary. Sleek chaises, cabanas and daybeds provide a plush lounging
environment where amenities such as iced towels and frozen fruit slices
ensure guests an upscale pool experience.
Atrium Level
The
Atrium Level, located on the second floor above the casino, is the
gateway to one of the world’s largest atriums. Here visitors can enjoy
shopping, dining, rides and attractions.
Shopping includes the
Pyramid Shop, Scarab Shop, Amazing Photos and the Pearl Factory. Dining
includes La Salsa and the food court.
Attractions located on the
Atrium Level feature the Games of the Gods Arcade, an IMAX® movie
theater; the IMAX® Adventures in Motion Ridefilms; and The Tomb and
Museum of King Tutankhamen – an exact replica of Howard Carter’s
archeological find of King Tut’s tomb in 1922.
Shopping at Luxor
Luxor offers a distinctive shopping experience within Luxor Galleria.
This shopping venue includes Cairo Bazaar, Ancient Discoveries and
Treasure Chamber for souvenirs and exotic gifts as well as Criss Angel
MINDFREAK – The Official Store @ Luxor that offers jeweled items
including key chains made with Swarovski crystals and the popular
necklace modeled after Criss’ own. Luxor also features Threads
contemporary men’s apparel featuring brand names such as DKNY, English
Laundry, Perry Ellis, Oakley and resort wear from Tommy Bahama.
Additionally,
Luxor offers shops on the casino level which include The Logo Store
with items such as key chains and T-shirts emblazoned with the Luxor
logo; Sobek’s Sundries for last-minute convenience items; Luxury at $10
featuring items such as handbags, earrings, scarves and neckties all
for $10; and the Nurture Pool and Spa Shop offering body products,
suntan lotion and swimsuits.
Mandalay Place
The first
retail center directly attached to two major casinos, Mandalay Place
provides an uncommon collection of boutiques and restaurants and is
located on the 100,000-square-foot sky bridge connecting Luxor and
Mandalay Bay.
Unique shopping venues include the only U.S.-based
Nike Golf store; 55° Wine + Design®, a hip wine bar and shop; LUSH
PUPPY, luxury gifts for the chic pet; The Art of Shaving, a barber spa;
The Reading Room, an intimate, independent bookstore; and upscale

Casino
Luxor’s
casino includes popular table games such as Blackjack, Baccarat,
Roulette, Pai Gow Poker and Craps as well as the latest in slot
machines. There also is a Poker Room and The Race & Sports Book.
Set
for completion by May 2008, Luxor’s new casino-floor design will flow
the water theme of the new center bar Liquidity out onto the gaming
floor with new carpet, wall coverings, wave-patterned columns and
alluring light fixtures, all in a varying color palette of cool blues,
vibrant purples and plums. Custom-designed ergonomic slot bases and
chairs will provide a hip, contemporary look and feel, mirroring the
dynamic energy of the distinct casino floor venues opening throughout
2007.
Guest Rooms and Suites
The Pyramid features 2,256
deluxe guest rooms and 235 Spa Suites. Inclinators travel the 30
stories at a 39-degree angle in each corner of the pyramid, delivering
guests to their rooms in unique fashion.
The Pyramid Deluxe and
Tower Deluxe Guestrooms features king or queen-size beds, 27-inch
television, AM/FM radio and an oversize shower.
Pyramid Spa Suites
feature exquisite accents throughout the décor. Each suite features a
comfortable living room complete with wet bar and a large whirlpool tub
located next to the window, ideal for a romantic evening view of the
Las Vegas skyline.
The twin 22-story towers have 1,948 deluxe
rooms with 237 suites. The deluxe tower guest room offers king or

The
Wedding Chapel offers a beautiful site to begin a journey together.

Excalibur

It may have been King Arthur who inspired the
phrase, “A man’s home is his castle.” It was said the king opened up
his fabled castle to royalty and his subjects alike for feasts,
celebrations and spectacles of entertainment. Today, that tradition of
hospitality continues at Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, where
a myriad of entertainment, fine food and comfortable accommodations
make for an inviting atmosphere within contemporary castle walls.

“Tournament
of Kings” Jousting Dinner Show – The last true dinner show in Las
Vegas, “Tournament of Kings” is a live production adapted from the tale
of King Arthur. Performed in a 900-seat, theater-in-the-round-style
arena, the show engages the audience through its tale of valor and
treachery. Mighty horses and feats of skill, special effects and
pyrotechnics further add to the unique appeal of the production.
Throughout the performance, a hearty three-course meal is served in the

Thunder From Down
Under – To find out what knights really do at night, guests should see
Australia’s all-male revue “Thunder From Down Under.” Eight bronzed,
buff men dance their way into the heart of every faire maiden. These
talented Aussies prove that not all knights need to wear shining armor
to impress their ladies-in-waiting.
Louie Anderson “Larger Than
Life” – Named “One of the 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time”
by Comedy Central, Anderson brings his talent to Excalibur. Produced by
Adam Steck, “Louie: Larger Than Life” features Anderson’s hilarious
stories and edgy material created only for Las Vegas crowds.
Attraction
Fantasy
Faire Midway – Fun and games for royal subjects of all ages can be had
at the Fantasy Faire Midway where arcade games and a multitude of
carnival-style games with a medieval flare abound. Magic Motion Machine
Film Rides provide thrills for the adventurous. Guest can chase an
elusive pickle in “SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D,” ride horseback in
“Corkscrew Hill,” or enjoy other exciting adventures.
Dining
Delicious
meals, prepared with care, were always part of celebrations in King
Arthur’s castle. The custom continues today within all of Excalibur’s

Dick’s Last Resort (Opened June 2007) – This
quintessential vacation hangout serves up massive cocktails and finger
foods by the bucket with a heaping helping of sass on the side.

The Steakhouse at Camelot –
The restaurant has been named one of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas
by the prestigious Zagat Survey. The tableside service at The
Steakhouse at Camelot is choreographed and tailored to each party’s
menu selections. Elegant dishes, such as the signature New York Steak
Au Fromage, Chateaubriand, Filet Mignon and broiled Maine Lobster Tail,
reflect the chef’s uncomplicated and flavorful approach. For special
gatherings, four private rooms are available, including the Chef’s
Table, which features a large window into the display kitchen, enabling
guests to watch as their meals are artfully prepared before their eyes.
Regale Italian Eatery – From the moment guests are warmly
greeted at the door, they will feel at home with everything from the
Italian-countryside setting to the familiar menu that represents
specialties inspired by traditional favorites of northern and southern
Italy. Specialties include sautéed Maine Lobster Tails, Manicotti and
Shrimp Scampi. Guests also can choose from a long list of personal
pizzas with garnishes that include everything from the traditional
toppings to broccoli, artichoke hearts, cauliflower, pineapple,
Portobello mushrooms and more. An equally impressive wine list
complements Regale’s extensive menu.
RoundTable Buffet – Located
on the Castle Walk, the buffet serves a variety of entrees, salads and
desserts at moderate prices for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday
champagne brunch.
Sherwood Forest Café – This cozy, traditional
24-hour coffee shop on the casino level offers a variety of menu
selections. In 2006, Sherwood Forest Café was awarded AOL CityGuide’s
Best Family Friendly Restaurant for its ability to serve hearty and
healthy foods to families on the go.
For quick bites, fast food
favorites are conveniently located on the Castle Walk: McDonald’s,
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Starbuck’s, Cold Stone Creamery, Pizza Hut

Bars & Lounges
Guests can gear up for a high-energy night at Octane, the hottest
classic-rock bar in Las Vegas, featuring a display of custom-designed
motorcycles. Octane is located on the Castle Walk directly in front of
the Thunder From Down Under Showroom. Specialty drinks, such as The
Blood, Sweat and Gears Cosmo, Tailpipe Wind and High Octane Kiss, are
served with flair by a team of energetic bartenders and servers.

The Casino
King Arthur could never have imagined the
sights and sounds of Excalibur’s 100,000-square-foot casino. Players
enjoy more than 1,800 slot, video poker and video keno machines, as
