It may have been King Arthur who inspired the phrase, “A man’s home is his castle.” It was said the king opened up his fabled castle to royalty and his subjects alike for feasts, celebrations and spectacles of entertainment. Today, that tradition of hospitality continues at Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, where a myriad of entertainment, fine food and comfortable accommodations make for an inviting atmosphere within contemporary castle walls.
Entertainment Excalibur’s vast array of merriment options provide entertainment fit for a king, queen and courtiers of all ages.
“Tournament of Kings” Jousting Dinner Show – The last true dinner show in Las Vegas, “Tournament of Kings” is a live production adapted from the tale of King Arthur. Performed in a 900-seat, theater-in-the-round-style arena, the show engages the audience through its tale of valor and treachery. Mighty horses and feats of skill, special effects and pyrotechnics further add to the unique appeal of the production. Throughout the performance, a hearty three-course meal is served in the spirit and tradition of the medieval period.
Thunder From Down Under – To find out what knights really do at night, guests should see Australia’s all-male revue “Thunder From Down Under.” Eight bronzed, buff men dance their way into the heart of every faire maiden. These talented Aussies prove that not all knights need to wear shining armor to impress their ladies-in-waiting.
Louie Anderson “Larger Than Life” – Named “One of the 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time” by Comedy Central, Anderson brings his talent to Excalibur. Produced by Adam Steck, “Louie: Larger Than Life” features Anderson’s hilarious stories and edgy material created only for Las Vegas crowds.
